Battersby's Main Street Garage (“we”) at 117 Main Street, Albion, RI 02802 uses this site to take service requests and inspection reminders. We are not in the data business.

What we collect

When you request service or a reminder: name, phone, optional email, vehicle description, optional plate, and whatever you type in the message. The site also stores a hashed IP for rate limiting, a Turnstile token, and basic page events (call clicks, form submit). We do not sell lists.

Why

To call you back, to do the work, to email a reminder before a sticker expires, and to keep the shop inbox from being buried in bots. That is the whole list.

Who sees it

The shop. Email goes through Resend. Hosting is Vercel. The database is Neon. Photos, when we have them, sit on Vercel Blob. We do not hand your number to a marketing network.

How long

Customer records stay while they are useful to the shop. You can ask us to delete or correct a record by calling (401) 333-1536 or emailing info@battersbygarage.com.

Cookies

A session cookie is used only on the admin tools. Public pages use sessionStorage to dismiss the announcement bar and to show your request summary on the thank-you page. No advertising cookies.
